The kidneys are two small organs in our lower back that are responsible for several essential regulatory roles in the body. They filter the blood and control electrolyte levels in the blood as well as reabsorb water to help prevent dehydration.

Sodium chloride is the chemical name for common table salt. Despite being told we eat to much, sodium chloride is essential for our bodies, and is involved in the transport of nutrients into cells.
