Do YOU know you are deficient?

Sharing is caring!

I know, I know.  You feel OK.  Not brilliant, but “normal”.

Surely if you were deficient in vitamins, minerals or other macro and micro-nutrients, your health would be suffering?

Well yes it would, and for most of us, IT IS.

This is most of us on the left:

This is a pot of my chilli plants.  It’s actually the same pot, left and right.  The only difference is about 2 weeks.

Which plant are you?  Read on to find out…

On the left, the plants were left without any plant fertilizer for several months.  The plants still produced one or two chillies, but new flowers were rare.  The leaves were thinning out and going yellow.  You can even see the first signs of disease if you look carefully.  See those blotchy leaves and white spots?

When an organism (plant or animal) is deficient, it becomes more susceptible to disease and parasites that can take over the body.  The body will also function well below is optimum as limiting factors start interrupting metabolic processes.

The image on the right is in stark contrast to the one of the left.  The leaves are no longer blotchy (well a few still are, but most have recovered), and the white “infection” has largely disappeared.  Note that the infection cleared up without any treatment other than the fertilizer I added during those two weeks, since the additional nutrients allowed the plant to fight off the infection naturally!  There is abundant new growth at the top of the plants, and lower down, they are filling out again.  There are also a lot of new flowers and buds developing.

On the left, the plants were still functioning and producing the odd chilli.

On the right, the plants are thriving, and there will soon be dozens of new chillies developing.

It’s hard to believe that these images are only separated by two weeks, but it’s true.

I fed the plants a universal fertilizer once every 3 days for two weeks.  This helped replace the deficient nutrients, and give the plants what they needed for optimum health.

On the left, the soil was not providing the plant with what it needed.  The soil had been depleted of essential nutrients (much like the processed foods many of us eat).

If you eat a lot or processed foods, you are like the plant on the left.  You still function and you feel OK, but you could feel SO much better.

Why not take the two week challenge and eat a diet rich in fruit, vegetables, nuts and other unprocessed foods?  You’ll realize that those aches and pains may not be an age thing after all.  Energy will return, and you’ll probably notice dramatic improvements in skin and hair.  Sleeping patterns will normalize and moods will stop swinging.

There is no better way to try this for yourself than by starting a juicing program.  Juicing the Rainbow is all about the health benefits of juicing, and we’ll tell you all about the vitamins, mineral and other nutrients you need, and where to get them naturally.
